How Long Will we Need House Phones

Not so long ago the first landline phones were released, these phones used finger dialling and they took the world by storm, people were able to communicate with people in other countries. But as most technolical pieces, these phones began to develop, the calls got cheaper and sound quality got a lot better.

But then came the invention of mobile cell phones, these caught on like hot cakes and now in this current day and age we are seeing kids as young as ten years old using mobile phones. Technology is just developing at great speeds in these handsets and mobile phones now allow us to connect to the internet, take pictures and shoot videos. The calls have become a lot more affordable and your phone can pick up signal almost anywhere.

Do we actually really need landlines anymore? I do believe that the answer to this question is both yes and no, so lets have a look at the reasons why
1) Firstly businesses will always need land line telephones, they will need these to transfer calls, track calls and do a lot more. Although mobile phones are great I do not think they can be used for business reason.
2) From another point of view, do we really need landline access at home anymore? I mean cell phone calls are just getting cheaper and cheaper so why get a land line? The thing about landlines is that they only work in specific locations you cant be too far away from the hand unit otherwise the signal will drop, besides that they constantly need charging otherwise their batteries will cut out.

In the end only time will tell what is going to happen in the forever progressing technological globe. Lets wait and see what occurs in the next few years.
